Have you ever dreamed of living in a 5-star hotel or bringing that experience of comfort and luxury to your home? One of our clients made this reality when they decided to install a complete smart home automation system in their lovely house in Studio City. Our challenge was to make this dream come true in a completely retrofit house, where we had no chance to open the walls or pull any new wires.
ForTech Solutions designed and integrated the whole system, making the home easily controllable from everywhere with a smartphone or a tablet.
The home is equipped with a whole-house audio and video system, lighting/shading control, a security surveillance system, and an outdoor entertainment system.
The living room was transformed into an original media room with a surround sound system and lighting control, with custom scenes, created specifically for the client.
As the house had very expensive and unique artwork, furniture, and floors, that needed to be protected from direct sunlight and heat, Lutron motorized shades were installed in the master bedroom, hallways, couple of bedrooms. Lutron shades have their own astronomical clock and open/close automatically at certain hours of the day for maximal energy saving and heat protection.
Wall mount control touch panels were installed in the most important places of the house, from where the owners can easily control the house with one touch of a button.
Security cameras were integrated into the Savant control app so that the owners can see what’s going on in all places of the property on their tablets and smartphones.
